Sandy Pilotte Director, Director
Sandy has served as the preschool’s director since 2009. Previously, she taught the pre-kindergarten class for four years. Sandy has worked in the education field for more than twenty years including counseling, teaching third and fourth grade, and teaching at CCBC. Sandy has a M.Ed. from the University of Maryland and a B.S. in Psychology and Elementary Education from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Sandy and her husband live in Towson with their two boys and dog Butterfly. Her spare time is occupied by attending her sons’ water polo games and additional sporting events. When she does have a quiet moment she enjoys reading, cooking and swimming.

Jacquie Meyer, Associate Director
Jacquie has been at CPCP since 2008 and serves as our Associate Director and Art Teacher.
Previously, she worked for the Baltimore Museum of Art, College of Notre Dame, and also owned a home daycare. Jacquie went to Ohio Wesleyan University and Towson University. She has two children, Michael and Natalie.
In Jacquie’s free time she enjoys camping, hiking, canoeing, art, music. and riding her motorcycle.

Jessica Burkett, Teacher
Jessica was born and raised in Indiana, lived in Montana for five years, and then settled in the Baltimore area in 2015. She has a BS in Biochemistry, MS in Chemistry, and a BA in Fine Arts. She has also earned her 90-hour teaching certificate and is trained in the Creative Curriculum for Preschool. Jessica has worked with children for the past 13 years. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs, hiking, photography, doing yoga, going to the gym, watching sports, and visiting museums

Katie Cooch, Teacher

Katie is a graduate of St. Mary’s College of Maryland. While at St. Mary’s she studied Psychology and completed their Masters of Arts in Teaching program. After graduation, Katie began work in the preschool at Garrison Forest School in Owings Mills. Katie spent the next seven years at GFS where she taught in the Lower School as a third and fourth grade teacher, coached middle school sports, and was a dorm parent to the upper school boarders. After taking a short break from the classroom to be with her three young children, Katie is beyond excited to join the Central community as an assistant teacher. In her free time, Katie loves to spend time with family, run, read, bake, and needlepoint.
Jan Cummings | TeacherBio
Jan Cummings, Teacher
Jan Cummings has been with CPCP since 2010. She is a graduate of University of Georgia (GO DAWGS) and Georgia State University.
Jan has four children, John, Lindsay Joe, and Sara. Both John and Lindsay were engaged while working in Mrs. DeSmit’s Pre-k class.
Jan loves spending time with friends and family, walking, reading, bible study and teaching her 2’s!!!

Judy Cyphers, Teacher
Judy Cyphers has taught with Central Preschool since 1999. Currently she teaches the 2 year old classes. She has a BA degree in Elementary Education from Loyola University of Maryland.
Judy has taught the Pre-K classes here at CPCP, and served as the Associate Director of Children's Ministries at Central Church. Earlier in her career she taught the 5th grade and was the Intermediate Remedial Reading Teacher for a school in the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
Judy enjoys taking walks with her dog, canoeing and family fun.
Aysha Currie | TeacherBio
Aysha Currie, Teacher
Alysha is an assistant teacher in the 2’s class. She graduated from Purdue University in 2004 with a degree in Language Arts Education, and taught high school English and Yearbook in Indiana. She moved to the Baltimore area in 2009. Alysha and her husband, Andrew, have 3 daughters, 2 of which attend Pleasant Plains Elementary School and their youngest is a student here at Central. In her free time, Alysha enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to see family and friends in Indiana, and reading.

Kim DePanfilis, Teacher
Kim DePanfilis, a New Jersey Native, attended the Pennsylvania State University and studied Human Development and Family Studies. Shortly after her days at Penn State (We ARE!!), Kim lived in the Midwest (Milwaukee, WI) for a couple of years and then moved to Baltimore, MD in 2004. Kim, spent years working in marketing and design for several private sector organizations and also created her own small business that assisted other businesses and entrepreneurs with the development of creative marketing materials. From 2009-2011, Kim was blessed with the birth of her two amazing children, Lily (9) and Luke (7). While raising her children through their younger years, Kim stayed active in her small business and contributed to the Stoneleigh Elementary PTA and was introduced to Central Preschool through her son Luke, who graduated from CPCP.
During the 2017-2018 school year, Kim joined Central Preschool as a Pre-K Associate and introduced children to “Beebots”, a floor robot used to teach early programming and coding skills to young children. Her passion and enthusiasm for working with children as led her to become a Co-Lead Teacher for the Fantastic Frogs (4 day Pre-K) class for 2018-2019.
Kim enjoys spending time with her family and friends, listening to and playing music (piano), working on her family’s Kindness Rocks project, traveling and contributing to the local community.

Tracey Dieter, Teacher
Tracey is the lead teacher for the Tuesday/Thursday 3's playful puppies class and the “Beebots” technology teacher for the Pre-K classes. "Beebots" are robot used to teach early programming and coding skills to young children.Tracey has a for the Pre-K classess. Beets BS in Journalism from the University of Maryland 15 years experience in newspaper design and editing including The St. Petersburg Times (Fl.) and Baltimore Sun. She has two sons, former preschool graduates, at Rodgers Forge Elementary. Tracey enjoys cooking, baking, reading, spending time with her husband and boys in Ocean City and Deep Creek Lake.
Harry Dunn | TeacherBio
Harry Dunn, Teacher
Famous “hat man” Harry Dunn teaches the three year old class with his wife Patti and has been with CPCP since 2006.
Over the past twenty years he has worn many hats including auditor for Mercantile bank, substitute teacher, co-pastor, and youth minister. Harry has a BS in math from Towson University, a Bank Administration Degree from the University of Wisconsin where he graduated first in his class out of 1500.
Harry and Patti have 3 children and six grandchildren. In his free time, Harry enjoys studying and teaching the scriptures, volunteering in youth ministry, archery, reading to his grandchildren, wearing silly hats and teaching.

Patti Dunn, Teacher
Patti Dunn is the other half of the beary loveable threes class. She has been with CPCP since 2006. And was a daycare mom for 10 years.
While studying at Towson State University she pursued music and health education. Patti has a 90 hour teaching certificate and has been trained in the creative Curriculum.
In her free time Patti enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, teaching Sunday school, cooking, baking and creating.
Hailey Harvey | TeacherBio
Hailey Harvey, Teacher
Hailey is the Assisant Pre-K teacher for the Proud Penguins 4 day program. A native of Pennsylvania, she attended the University of Pittsburgh and graduated in 2004. Hailey lived in Hawaii and Northern Virginia before settling in Baltimore in 2009. Hailey and her husband Tim have two daughters, Taylor (10) and Nora (5). Hailey was introduced to CPCP through her daughter Nora, and substitute taught before becoming a full-time staff member.
In her free time Hailey enjoys spending time with her family and friends, volunteering and serving the local community.

Alice Horan is the fabulous Lunch Bunch coordinator. Previously, she was the 2's lead teacher since 2006. She graduated from Drexel University and has worked as a Children’s Book and Toy Product Evaluator. She has two children.
Alice enjoys movies with friends, traveling and entertaining family.

Michelle Kaufman, Assistant Teacher
Michelle Kaufman is an assistant in the two program and also works as a cosmetologist. She previously worked as an assistant in the Special Education Department in Baltimore County Public Schools and also as an assistant teacher in the 2,3, and 4 year old program at Towson Presbyterian Preschool.
Michelle has two children. In her free time she enjoys spending time at the beach.

Audrey Kennedy, Music Teacher
Audrey is a graduate of Elon University. She worked at Legg Mason, Long and Foster, and taught first grade in Baltimore City Public Schools. She has four children who attend Stoneleigh Elementary. Audrey enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching her children play on sports teams, and cheering for the Raven's. She loves doing community service and listening to live music.

I was born and raised in South Carolina and moved to Baltimore in 2011. I attended Clemson University (Go Tigers!) for my undergraduate degree and I graduated from Towson University with my master’s degree in early childhood education. I was previously a Pre-K teacher for Anne Arundel County Public Schools. I have a 1 year old named Henry and a 3 year old named Evie who attends CPCP as well:) In my free time you will find me at the Tot Lot or Trader Joe’s.
Anna Ostendorf | TeacherBio
Anna Ostendorf, Teacher
Anna is a co-lead with the 4s program this year. She graduated from Towson University in May of 2016 studying Sports Management. Anna also worked with Towson University Athletics in the Fan Development Department, as a server at Villagio Cafe, and as a part time nanny for two former students from CPCP. Anna is also an associate therapist at Little Leaves.
Anna enjoys spending time with friends and family, shopping, and traveling. She also loves serving with Central Presbyterian Church in the middle school and high school ministry as a small group leader and traveling with them on missions trips to El Salvador, Michigan, Mexico, and Pennsylvania.

Marsha Sullivan, Teacher
Marsha has been a teacher with CPCP since 2010 as a three’s co-lead teacher. Marsha graduated from St. Michaels in Vermont and attended Portland State University for graduate school. Marsha taught 5th grade in Oregon.
In her free time she enjoys hiking, running, reading, skiing and tennis.

I have been teaching for 25 years in private and Christian schools. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Towson University. My career began as a preschool teacher, but over the years, I have taught several different grades (Kindergarten, second grade, and middle school English and History). Now my career has come full circle as I am teaching precious preschool children again! My family and I love attending Central Presbyterian Church, and I am so grateful to be a part of the staff at Central Preschool. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, Ben, and daughter, Lydia. We enjoy swimming, traveling, and reading.
